How long is the lease term?
We offer a variety of both short (3-5 months) and long term (6 or 12 month) lease options. Please contact the Leasing Office for current lease term availability.
Are utilities included? If so, which ones?
Trash is included with rent. Electricity is provided by Snohomish County PUD which provides power for electric wall heaters, ceiling fans, appliances and hot water heaters. Water and sewer rates are governed by the city of Stanwood. Wave cable provides cable TV and Internet services to the property via agreements with individual residents. Please contact the Leasing Office should you have questions about typical resident utility costs.
What are tenant screening criteria?
We do not accept comprehensive reusable tenant screening reports and do require a $45 screening fee to perform credit and criminal background checks as well as prior residence validation. Please contact our Leasing Office for more details.
How much will I pay in up-front costs when I sign the lease?
The first month’s rent plus all deposits and fees.
Are pets allowed? If so, is there a fee?
We accept dogs (20lb Max) and cats. The first pet requires a $500 refundable pet deposit plus a non-refundable $250 pet fee totaling $750. There is an additional $250 non-refundable pet fee associated with a second pet. No more than two pets are allowed.
How does parking work?
The property provides ample guest parking and one covered stall per apartment. Second vehicles and guests can use any of the uncovered spaces on the property. We have no parking fees but all vehicles kept on the site must be in running condition and be used on a weekly basis.
Are there building quiet hours and access to community spaces?
From time to time we hold community events for our residents in our newly renovated clubhouse/leasing space. While we do not make this space available for private functions, a loop trail system connects our scenic lookout and recreation lawn areas with the playground, mail center and pea patch community garden. Quiet hours at the property are from 10pm-8am.
What about mail and packages?
In addition to a centrally located private mailbox, packages can be retrieved 24/7 from our fully automated self-service package locker system. You will receive a text message or email with a security code upon delivery of any new package. Enter the security code at the mail center kiosk and the locker door containing your package will pop open.
What should I do if I have a maintenance issue in my apartment?
We have a professional maintenance crew living here at property and make every attempt to expedite work orders. You can call the office or complete a maintenance work order through the resident online portal. Immediate maintenance emergencies occurring outside of office hours should be addressed by calling our emergency line at (360) 631-0142.
When is my rent due? What forms and methods of payment do you accept?
Rent is due on or before the 1st of the month. We accept credit/debit cards, personal checks, or money orders. A link to pay your rent is provided below:
What about renter’s insurance?
Insurance coverage is required of all residents. We offer a competitive renters insurance program, please contact our Leasing Office for details.
Who manages the property?
Creekside Apartment Homes is professionally managed by Coast Management Company. Veteran leasing and maintenance personnel live on-site at the property allowing staff to provide outstanding service levels to residents.
